Claire specialises in employment law and provides support to members of the employment team in areas such as know-how, precedents, technical research and training.
Claire is a qualified barrister and initially practised in civil litigation but has practised solely in employment law for the last 17 years.
Prior to taking on this role, Claire worked for a Trade Association and latterly a niche employment law firm where she advised blue-chip clients as well as SMEs and charities on all aspects of employment law including unfair dismissal, redundancy and re-organisation, TUPE and discrimination. Claire undertook a mixture of contentious and non-contentious work as well as employment tribunal advocacy. Claire has conducted investigations in the public and private sector and is also an accredited mediator. Claire regularly delivered training (including to regulatory bodies) with a heavy emphasis on diversity and inclusion.
